Drake flew to New Orleans the other night to help his manager Tez as well as Young Money president, Mack Maine, celebrate their birthday in style. Cameos by Birdman and photos by Derrick G. YMCMB baby.

This one makes more sense, no shots of course. Too bad Eminem got in the way of Drake & Nicki Minaj. Shouldn’t they be side by side? Because you know they’re newly weds and all, awwww. Anyways, tune in to watch the VMAs on September 12 at 9pm on MTV! ;)

How many of you tuned in Drake’s A Milli Ustream last night? Well if you did, I hope you enjoyed it all and if you didn’t, here’s a well detailed recap by Billboard. Lots of news & goodies!
After giving his fans a chance to watch the premiere of the “Miss Me” music video, Drake reached out to his fans — literally — during a Ustream webcast from his Toronto apartment Thursday night (Aug. 19). The rapper used the webcasting service for an hour to announce the title of his forthcoming R&B mixtape and a “Welcome Home Weezy” concert, show off his Toronto apartment and dial a handful of lucky fans on his Blackberry.
Drake struggled to launch the Ustream for nearly half an hour, but he was ready to answer fan questions once overcoming the technical difficulties. “Ustream is like the new press conference,” he said. “I put this [black hoodie] on and sprayed cologne as if you can smell it. It’s really as if we’re meeting in person.”
After answering questions about his mom (“I love her… I might see her tonight”) and the pressures he feels as an artist (“Every night I go to sleep, it’s like, ‘I gotta get better’… I gotta come back with an album that’s way better than ‘Thank Me Later,’ that’s way better than ‘So Far Gone’”), Drizzy said that his free R&B mixtape will be called “It’s Never Enough,” and that there is no release date but it will come out “soon.” He also said that he is working on his second album and hopes to have it out next year.

And the video has arrived via DJ Tay James. Drake plays a great big brother role. Skip to 2:00.
Sidebar: Remind yourself to buy a pair of earplugs if you ever attend a Bieber show. LOL.

Drake joins Justin Bieber backstage and on stage at Justin’s Indianapolis concert last night. It’s that Canuck love! But of course Perez would write all over them. Oh and, they sang ‘Baby‘ together that night. Hopefully a video surfaces the net soon.

Always a gentleman, Drake smiled for the cameras and chatted briefly about his upcoming R&B mixtape and sophomore album at the BlackBerry Torch launch party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (Aug. 11).
“I’m always accustomed to giving out free music, so I’m working on this new project for free and I’m also working on my second album,” said Drizzy, whose 2009 mixtape So Far Gone helped launch his hip-hop career.
While he didn’t drop any names of potential collaborators on the album, he did say “anything’s possible.”
Oh Aubrey.

Last night, Drake came out to LA to attend the launch party of the AT&T BlackBerry Torch, the latest device from the BlackBerry camp. The event was private and Drake performed a crowd of select celebrities. He then put on the smile we all love to take pictures with the BlackBerry staff. Drizzy was even put to the test to see if he could send a text message with his eyes closed, and of course he mastered it with no spelling errors. Check out the photos below!

A great quality video put together by RealTalkNY of Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto with all his special guests.
