“Man, if 0-9 is when I’ma see mine, being cool ain’t enough homie, I’ma freeze time like-that.”
Drake had an amazing year. He dominated the music scene and surpassed all the other new comers. I decided to briefly summarize his past 12 months to showcase his growth. I might of left out a few things here and there but I think I displayed all the important highlights. Drake is currently recording his debut Thank Me Later album and it is set to release March 2010. We are all excited for its outcome. Anyways, I will keep this introduction short and you can check out my amazing Drake timeline, lol. Congrats on all your success Drake; we are all proud of you. “What’s your life like? This is how mines feel.”
January
2009 started with Drake being on tour with Lil Wayne & Young Money. As you can see below, he was and has always been the quiet one.
He then shot a music video for I’m Still fly with Page. He performed at the ACC for the 1st time with Lil Wayne (t’was history!) and two songs dropped (Unstoppable x Every Girl). Everything was about to change…
February

We all know Drake loves Houston, so he decided to chop x screw it. The month ended with a few interviews here and there oh, and here.
March
Drake co-starred in Chrisette Michele’s Epiphany music video, an LRG ad, we marked our 2 year anniversary (yaaay) and Drake performed Live at MTV Spring Break 2009 Panama City with Young Money!
The month ended with Jimmy Valentino and a Trey Songz video cameo.
