With the most nominations at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards ’09, our boy Young Angel has a chance to scoop up five awards this year. He’s nominated for “Lyricist of the Year,” “Track of the Year” (with ‘Every Girl’ featuring Lil Wayne, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda & Mack Maine), “MVP of the Year,” “Hustler of the Year” and lastly, “Rookie of the Year.”
It’s still unclear whether or not Drizzy will attend this year’s festivities due to his recent knee surgery, but we’ll get the word to you first if he’s in good health to make it to the year’s show.
The 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards will be hosted by comedian Mike Epps, and will air on Tuesday, October 27th at 8pm ET. Don’t miss it!
