Ya Its A Good Slow Motion Big Boobs Video. But I Thought It Woulda Had More To It. Its Almost Like Kanye West Feels Threatened By The New Commer Drake And Dident Put Forth Any Effort In The Video To Somehow Try To Put A Stop Drakes Carrer From Blowin Up Even MoreThen It Already Has(Kanye Is A Very Jealous Self Centered Person). The Home Town Video Crew L&G (Laq & Glory) Films From Toronto Woulda Done Alot Better. But What Do I Know Them Stupid Yankees Will Probly Fall In Love With It.

I will be real and this is coming from a huge fan who as a rapper himself might say Drake is his favorite emcee right now and has been since 2006.

This video was quite boring and corny. Even though as a male, I can’t deny that I didn’t enjoy the ladies who “threw some D’s on it”, it almost was just tasteless and not put together well. IMO, he would have been better off doing a Degrassi themed video with the actual characters and non-mutated women. Where is Melissa Mac when you need her? LOL

This is coming from a true cat that rocks with Drake music daily…I wasn’t feeling this. No hate…I just wasn’t. I’m hoping his cinematic endeavors and creativity grows in the future for your future vids.

    Thanks for hearing my opinion.

I liked the part where he was like….” you gotta take the d. when they give you do the D you take it.” lol.. but with all seriousness the video was pointless what does it have to do with teh best he ever had. its not like they won. and im not hating because im a huge drake fan. just given constructive criticism.

i wish it was more of a real story or sumthing that has to do with the lyrics to the song. Im not tryna say the viddeo was bad cus anyone that knows me knows i go ham for drake. But i just wish the story was better the video was exactly what i wish it wasnt (full of Video chicks bouncing up and down basically flashing the viewers) but over all it was kinda funny and trey songz had a cameo in it so i give it a 3 1 for comedy 1 for trey and 1 just cus its drake

This is what you call, “when bad videos happen to good songs.” Best I Ever Had is the song of 2009, and that video was the FUCKIN WORST! It almost makes me wonder if Ye sabotaged Drake, because as great as that song is, the video should have been epic. They could have filmed him walking the streets of T. Dot rapping and it would have been better than this breastravaganza we just got here.

I thought the video was a metaphor for a relationship with a woman. Tell her she’s the best even when she may not be. Get her some clothes or uniforms in this case and hope that she steps her confidence up. I thought the whole basketball team thing was just a metaphor for a relationship with a chick. Could have been a bit more theatrical, but still a good showing Drake. He has come a very long way since I was first introduced at a studio back in 2004 to this young kid that raps & that is an actor on the new Degrassi t.v. show.

ahhhh , Drake I love you to death but I honestly hope you do not plan to put this video out there!

It was horrible and will dissapoint lots of people, the potential for this video could be so much greater!!

the boobs was tasteless, the basketball game was pointless

the song is about a girl and her being the best you ever had, what does any of that “official” video have to do with what your song is supposed to be representing in a way?

Unless i’m just misunderstanding the song, but the song lyrics seem to be pretty point blank perid.

I don’t get it, pls just do another one or something.

and i’m baffled to know kanye directed it, but i’m even more baffled of the fact that you actually sat there and listened to his concept and didnt object to it.

Message for drake: Pull this video!

DO NOT RELEASE THIS OFFICIALLY PLEASE. This is coming from a true fan and I’m trying to look out for your best interest. Releasing this is just not going to do you any good infact I think it might serve in regressing your progress.
I am so unbelievably disappointed in this video I am atually compelled to write this comment which is something I have never done.
I know this video is Kanye directed and he is someone you hold in high regard, but don’t let that stop you in looking out for your best interest. Don’t be afraid to say even to a Kanye that this isn’t good enough and you don’t think it should be released because if this was his video you better believe he would be saying just that.
Some have commented that they believe Kanye was trying to sabotage you and based on what I just viewed I have to agree. For a man that is considered by himself and others a musical genius and prides himself on his artistry this is what he does for his directorial debut, OH PLEEEEASE.
(Beware of fake friends that smile in your face and wait to capitalize on your mistakes)
The song best I ever had for so many especially women represented a man’s positive view of a woman. It wasn’t about tits and ass, it wasn’t about objectifying her but honouring and respecting her and knowing she is that one, that she is the best. This video takes all the positive meaning away and shits on it, which is sad.
Remember when you put out a video the images become a visual representation of the song is this the visual you want associated with your song.
It is now a little after 3am and I’m writing this hoping that it gets to you before you officially release this to video stations. I hope you realize how essential it is that you pull this piece of generic embarassing crap of a video.
I say this with all the concern in the world.

    VIDEO=EPIC FAIL

I respect the lyrical and song writing ability you have but
    this video is horrible.

I’m feelin’ the sexy ladies but the theme of the music video
just doesn’t make sense. Thought Kanye would have done better- especially with his cocky swag, wouldn’t of thought he would make a video like this.
Still a fan, but gotta be 100, this video isn’t the bussiness.

I feel like this was totally off subject. I don’t think of ur real fans, the ones that were here before the hype ecpected this from you. I felt like the concept was old & has been done before. This is wat u get when u work w/Kanye? I expected more than just titties everywhere, what does that have to do w/the lyrics. Wow Kanye.
Drake when you wrote the song i know you have a visual in you mind. Looking back at an interview i saw you state you took this to serious and that Kanye came along and helped you do your creation. Thats where i personally feel your creation became someone else. I feel if the concept was accepting a woman at the end no matter what the issue-that may have been displayed in the losing of the basketball game- but the video didn’t do Aubrey DRAKE Graham it did Mr.West. I respect both works of you guys and frankly I think Wayne could have done a better job and still given ‘Drizzy’ the main floor. The comments you are reading are not to ‘bash’ or ‘ridicule’ its to show you that people as fans are the ones to buy your talent on a disk so we want you to be the fuking best. I wouldn’t consider the above people rude, just concerned. With you being so new to the game ‘in the rap game eyes’ not the about people, we find if the person directing it wouldn’t inform you we could. Some artist want to see you fail and will tear this video apart with comments. At the end of the I enjoy all the albums (mixtapes are understatements) and hope that your the best at everything you do.

    on Jul 2nd, 2009
    @ 6:13 AM

I personally liked it because it was something different. The song is light-hearted and fun so this style of video just feels right.

I’m not sure what people were expecting ,maybe something oscar worthy or ground break but get real! I know that the video doesn’t follow the song word for word. But if he did that, that wouldn’t have been anything new. He would have created another cliche video, Drake romancing a dime video vixen… WOW big difference from other dudes.

The song is FUN and poppy! Kanye did a good job creating a video that was youthful and upbeat which captures the mood of the song. I was surprised that it actually made me laugh and smile, which is something you heardly see in hip-hop, videos are either just cars, bling, clubs, women, etc.

Drake looked great in it, the ladies also. So all in all it was a good first video. And I doubt for one second that Kanye would work on something stictly to ruin Drake’s career ecause he is threatened. It’s Kanye’s debut also, so for me that theory in itself seems a little daff. Thx

This may be the worst introductory video of a new video of ALL TIME. Drake needs to get rid of anyone around him who saw the video and told him it was even okay enough to put out. Then he needs to see if there are legal actions he can take to get his money back from Kanye because….there are no words for this HAM.

The Best I Ever had should have been sung to a person or at least a picture, maybe into a phone and had a summer or bright theme. He just became another cheap version of a would be good rapper.

My only regret in life is that I saw the video. I’ll never listen to that song ever again.

i think if his team believed it was a bad video (niko, oliver, etc.), they would let him know. if he decides to pull it, he’ll pull it.
he said in the complex interview he did not pick the women for this video (kanye did), nor was he the man behind the camera. he said he hopes women don’t get offended.
cut him some slack. he’s only done this one other time before.

man. Not even cuhz i HATE kanye but he really did sabotage. think about it. drake(my fav rapper) comes on the scene proving to be something different than the rest. builds up a crazy buzz. no one seen anything like this kid. he states kanye is his inspiration. kanye sees him as a threat and the perfect opportunity to ruin that threat. kanye is a worse version of drake. so he took this revolutionary song and mc that the ladies love, and used his “creative genius” to produce the most generic and mildly funny video ever! this shit cudve been monumental! i love boobs as much as the next guy but WTF drake! u trusted kanye way too much. this jus proves my theory that he is an idiot and hes like a jealous child. Good God. this is the worst possible video to accompany this song and no matter what dumb ass moral that u manage to muster up for this tragedy, no one will appreciate it. Im sure u lost alot of “on the border” female fans with this video to this song. just stick to ur own creative genius cuz ur way smarter than kanye. go with ur instinct. thats what got u here! kanyes time is done. pls take this advice from probably ur biggest fan. i agree with E-Class, Ellise and, Hip-Hopper: the metaphor behind the video could be seen, but like Hip-Hopper said, Drake’s so new that this video should’ve been more simple so that EVERYONE could get it; remember, not everyone can see a concept in a video and get it as quickly as us fans can, you know? I think we’re more disappointed in it because we think so highly of Drake…and “out the gate” we kind of expected some type of Michael Bay video and because we didn’t get that…we’re all like “…Well this is BULLOX! (it means crap)”

The pep-talk during the game was HILARIOUS, tho.

Although I AM disappointed in this video, it’s not the end of the world for Drake, and we ALL know this.

Drake’s STYLL the fuckin’ best (Y)

this video was hilarious! yes i agree it didn’t go with the song, but the song is fun and the video was, like he said, he didn’t want to be too serious. and besides, Kanye sabotaging Drake sounds stupid. that would also look bad on his part, so if the video fails to be a success, it’s on him so if he’s suppose to be this creative genius, how would that make him look. I still love Drake, and yes, he’s the effin best! i just wonder how their going to show this on 106 @ park with all the boobies and ass cracks. lol

    Love the song, no doubt.

But the video….I’m just a little confused. It’s a bit not what I thought the song had to do with… If I watch the video by itself on mute, it still looks dumb. =(
